getting google earth

Is it possible to get a zorin version of google earth? New to zorin this am.

Hi,

download the package from here:

http://www.google.com/earth/download/ge/agree.html

32 or 64 Bit Ubuntu Deb and install with Ubuntu Software Center or Gdebi.

Apart from my avoidance of all things Google, I was designing a website for someone and Google Earth had information at least 2 years out-of-date! Bing maps is more up-to-date (formerly Multimap.co.uk - swallowed by Microsoft). :D

I would advise NOT to download google earth from the official site.
The reason is that the official site offers version 7.1 which is still BETA for linux and has a lot of problems, crashes etc.

I strongly advise you to download version 7.0 which is stable (or version 6.0 if your computer has low specs).
