How to successfully install GNU/Linux alongside Windows

I installed Zorin OS 4 64 bit along side win 7 x64 Home Premium, I still boot straight into windows with no boot menu, I think the problem may be because I have 2 hard drives and 6 partitions since the install of Zorin, am I doing something incorrect or is there a way to dual boot Zorin in this configuration?

Go ahead feel free to move it anywhere it is more appropriate.

An extended Partition could have been created which has partitions under it, that could be why it has 6 partitions between two drives.

And I would make sure that GRUB was installed during the install procedure. You may want to also look into trying SuperGRUBdisc to fix any issues with GRUB.
